The Church
The word church comes from a Greek word ekklesia which simply means an assembly. In the case of it's usage in the scriptures, it usually refers to the assembly of the people of God.
There are two ways this word refers to God's people. One way is an assembly in a specific location— the church in Corinth, for example. The other way is the people of God as a whole, dead or alive who are spiritually assembled and will be forever assembled in heaven. In these articles, these two ways of using the word church are sometimes referred to as the local church and the universal church.
Herein, you may find some articles I have written regarding the church.
