James 1:22-25
But be sure you live out
the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive
yourselves. For if someone merely listens to the message
and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at
his own face in a mirror. For he gazes at himself and then
goes out and immediately forgets what sort of person he was.
But the one who peers into the perfect law of liberty and
fixes his attention there, and does not become a forgetful
listener but one who lives it out — he will be blessed
in what he does.(

The Bible is the perfect mirror. When we read it, it shows us what kind of people we really are. But it also shows us how to fix our flaws. Don't you wish your bathroom mirror could do that? The problem is that we often don't read our Bible in order to use it and so that we can fix our problems. This website is meant to encourage reading and studying your Bible as well as providing some materials to help you in your study. I hope that it can be of some help.
I also maintain two other websites that may be of interest to you.
- Know Your Bible South Africa offers a free email correspondence course, tracts, short answers to Bible questions, and a backlog of Preaching the Gospel Magazine.
- HeadCoverings.org is meant for the discussion of one topic - The Head Coverings of 1 Corinthians 11. The website is inspired by the book by that name, written by Paul K. Williams. This is a worthwhile resource, no matter what your belief is on the head covering.
